As adults, the moment we wake up from bed, there is a plan set in place for how the day should turn out. Usually 60-70% of it is controllable while the remaining is deemed by fate or hand of God. As controlling beings, we aim to have all our lives sorted out without leaving single thing to chance because that is our nature, humans who always need a goal. A goal ranges across the board as far as diversity is concerned, so take notice of the goal to be successful. " Sam, what is your goal in the next ten years" said my dad's lawyer friend to a 19 year old who's looking for phone bill money. "I don't know, be successful?" is what i said, as he smirked, saying "better start thinking hard then". Society places an indirect pressure on this generation to have it figured out by their twenties because of the quick access to tools that weren't seen in the old days. However, it is impossible for everyone to be successful and own a business, even if the opportunities are more than ever. This success is sold to the working class as an extravagant lifestyle with fame and power but truthfully, this is not attainable for all. We must accept that we are all destined for success, but in ways that will be bigger or smaller the next person. This is crucial to understand or else, the rate of depression will just keep going up for those who continually try to achieve success in fields that are not meant for them.
